Co founder of BLACKBURN SACHS ASSOCIATES, John
Sachs has been working closely with the media for the past 25 years.
For 17 years John has been successful as a top radio and television
broadcaster 12 of those years spent on London's world famous Capital
Radio, where he won numerous awards, namely Variety Club ILR Presenter
of the years and Silver at the World Radio awards in New York. Other
radio stations include JAZZ FM (breakfast show), BBC Radio 2, and
Y100 in Florida, USA. His television credits include GLADIATORS,
INTERNATIONAL GLADIATORS, TRAINED II WIN, TAKE YOUR PICK, THE WORLD
MUSIC AWARDS, THE BAFTA AWARDS, FOUR SQUARE and THE BRIAN CONELY
SHOW.
His writing credits include author of two best
sellers (co - written with Piers Morgan, Editor of the News Of The
World), hundreds of features and columns for many newspapers and
periodicals, including The People, Sunday Magazine, The Sun, and
The Evening Standard. Having written and produced numerous sketches
and live performances, John has had the pleasure of working with
many of Entertainment's top writers and performers his production
credits include Rory Bremner (" N-N-Nineteen Not Out", Oval records,
which reached top 15 in the Gallup national charts) plus numerous
comedy sketches for Rory. He wrote and produced many character sketches
with Harry Enfield, Julian Clary, Jonathan Ross (who can forget
the infamous "Blues Brothers sketch"), Jessica Martin (Holiday Rap"
produced and written by John was a hit right across Europe), Little
and Large, Brian Conely and Kenny Everett.
John founded TALKING HEADS PRODUCTIONS in 1993,
making television and radio commercials for such blue chip clients
as the Sunday Express, the Daily Express, Peugeot, Brands Hatch,
MCA Records, HDC and Laross Hair Products. More recently he has
been developing up Television projects such as a spin of Fawlty
Towers starring his father Andrew Sachs for ITV, a documentary series
for United, a big budget game show for ITV and a light entertainment
series based around television chefs the Nosh Brothers also for
ITV. His casting skills have been utilised most recently by Telstar
Records for the highly successful Talking books series. His wide
knowledge and contact file of sponsors has been successful in putting
together a number of large sponsorship deals for radio networks
including "Select - A -Call", "Lets Talk About Sex" and "The Buzz"
for the GWR Group.
John's reknown musical knowledge and contacts
means his service as a top consultant to many large advertising
agencies has made him the first choice to the industry's premier
creative teams. Most recently John's music biz skills have been
in demand by the world of films, most recently he was asked to be
music supervisor for the new Marlon Brando epic "Divine Rapture".
John started TALKING HEADS VOICE AGENCY in 1992
and now boasts the most comprehensive selection of top voices in
the UK including the legendary Patsy Kensit, Fenella Fielding, Gary
Martin and of course himself.
John's highly successful management company, Blackburn
Sachs Associates, boasts a roster ranging from such diverse talents
as Steve Rider, Lisa I'Anson, David Jensen, Jonathan Pearce, Chris
Eubank, Lauren Booth and Sonia.
As a result of his continued successful media
career and as Vice President of Variety Club and Chairman of the
celebrities committee for three years, John enjoys very special
and privileged contact with most of the worlds top show business
and sports personalities, and is often involved with the organisation
of Gala Tribute televised luncheons and award ceremonies throughout
the world.
